Load the current codeplug into your software. Then click on "Optional Settings."

Then, Click "Digital Fun."

Change the top two options, "Group Call Hold Time" and "Person Call Hold Time" to 30 minutes.
Save the Codeplug with a different filename. Write the radio with the new file.

Now, when you wish to change to a different Talkgroup press and hold the Zero (0) button, then press the pound (#) key for group call, enter any Talkgroup number like 91, then press the PTT momentarily.
You are now in that Talkgroup until you turn the channel knob at the top of the radio.

Load the current codeplug into your software. Then click on "Optional Settings."

Then, Click "Digital Func."

Change the third and forth options, "Manual Dial - Group TG Hold Time" and "Manual Dial - Private TG Hold Time" to "Infinite."
Save the Codeplug with a different filename. Write the radio with the new file.

Now, when you wish to change to a different Talkgroup press and hold the Zero (0) button, then press the pound (#) key for group call, enter any Talkgroup number like 91, then press the PTT momentarily.
You are now in that Talkgroup until you turn the channel knob at the top of the radio.

Want to hear and see the DTMF tones while transmitting when you press the keys on the keypad on Analog frequencies/repeaters?

Click on the "DTMF Setting" option at the bottom of the menu on the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

Now click the "Side Tone" check box.

Save the codeplug with a new filename and write the update to the radio.
After you write the new codeplug, while transmitting you will see and hear the keys you press on the screen.
